Learning never
stops here.

We encourage your continued
education and growth.

  • We support you in getting your CRRN and CBIS certification and even give you a financial reward for passing!

  • Want to be a Chief Nursing Officer? Our 12-18 month “CNO-in-training” program is designed to help you get there.

  • Our safe mobility program called STOP (Stop, Think, Organize, and Position) teaches basic injury prevention techniques. Each Encompass Health location has at least one STOP champion to help you avoid injuries.

I have received some letters and thank you cards from patients and it makes me proud to know what an impact I had on their recovery.

Growing here, there, and
almost everywhere.

We encourage you to aim high. If you want to move to management and leadership positions, then you’ll get the education and tools to help you get there. Some of our nurses have been selected to teach the orientation program to new employees; others have been able to develop a nursing residency program. Our 140+ locations and counting across the country means that you can have a long-lasting career with us even if you relocate to one of our many locations. We support your career journey, no matter where it takes you.

Collaboration is our cornerstone.

Collaboration is the bond that brings everyone who works for Encompass Health together. We make sure leadership is accessible so you can always receive guidance, and we look at mistakes as learning opportunities, not failures. These are one of the many reasons our nurses stay with us long-term. 80% of our nurses said they would refer a friend to us and we have a referral program that rewards you for doing so. By focusing on partnership, we create a positive environment where you can be supported.

It is a great place to learn something new every day and sharpen up skills frequently. The people that work here are so welcoming, and always there to lend a hand when help is needed.
